An Arizona mother says her first-day-of-school pickup turned into a frantic search after she could not immediately find her daughter. The mother, Aretzii (@aretxi.d) on TikTok, documented the experience in a series of videos. In the first video, Aretzii shows herself getting her daughter ready for school. A text overlay sets up what she says happened later that day: “She doesn’t know it yet but in 8 hrs she’ll have a panic attack after her child goes missing for 30 mins at school pickup.”
A subsequent video shows Aretzii describing the moment she realized school staff could not immediately tell her where her daughter was. The video includes the text overlay, in part, “First day of school and one my biggest fears come true.”
