Ariana Grande’s marriage to real estate broker Dalton Gomez has officially ended after nearly three years. The divorce was finalized in a Los Angeles Superior Court judgment on Tuesday. The 30-year-old pop star filed for divorce six months ago, citing irreconcilable differences, after separating from the 28-year-old businessman over a year ago. The couple had no children and had a prenuptial agreement in place, simplifying the legal process.
The terms of the settlement, agreed upon last October, include Ariana making a one-time payment of $1,250,000 to Dalton and splitting the proceeds from the sale of their Los Angeles home equally. Additionally, she will cover up to $25,000 of his legal fees. No alimony will be paid as per their agreement.
Ariana and Dalton began dating in January 2020 and got engaged in December of the same year. They tied the knot on May 15, 2021, at Ariana’s home in Montecito, California. The couple appeared together in Justin Bieber’s music video for 'Stuck With U' during the pandemic.
Ariana Grande recently released her seventh studio album, 'Eternal Sunshine,' which has been well-received by fans. Despite the divorce, supporters have expressed their encouragement for the singer, referencing her hit single 'Thank u, Next.' Fans have shown solidarity and wished her continued success and happiness in the future.
