Are we sure the Boston Celtics’ high-stakes Kristaps Porzingis experiment is going to work for the storied ball club next season? With the Celtics preparing for the upcoming season, and training camp just around the corner, the true start of that experiment is nearly upon us, and it could be that many of us are looking at the move through green-tinted lenses.
The roster has seen changes, with veteran point guard Marcus Smart and reserve forward Grant Williams leaving, with much fo the depth that made Boston a sturdy squad going with them. Meanwhile, there are mixed opinions on Porzingis; some believe he can be a valuable third star, while others question his consistency and health.
Together, things might go quite poorly for Boston if things don’t break as they’d hoped — but how reasonable is it to worry it won’t?
The hosts of the CLNS Media “Celtics Beat” podcast recently got together to talk it over with guest Seth Landman; check the clip embedded above to hear what they had to say.
