Are Wall Street Analysts Bullish on Quanta Services Stock?

Houston, Texas-based Quanta Services, Inc. (PWR) offers infrastructure solutions for the electric and gas utility, power generation, load center, manufacturing, communications, pipeline, and energy industries. Valued at a market cap of $99.6 billion, the company designs, procures, constructs, upgrades, repairs, and maintains electric power transmission and distribution infrastructure, substation facilities, and more.

PWR stock has rallied the broader market over the past year, growing 76.3% compared to the S&P 500 Index’s ($SPX) 19.5% surge. Moreover, in 2026, the stock has risen by nearly 57%, outperforming the SPX’s 11.6% rise.

Focusing on its industry benchmark, the State Street Industrials Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLI) has risen 18.9% over the past year, underperforming the stock. In 2026, XLI has grown 15.9% and has also lagged behind the stock.

On July 30, PWR stock rose 17.3% following the release of its impressive Q2 2026 earnings. The company’s revenue for the quarter rose 41.1% from the previous quarter and came in at $9.6 billion, surpassing the Street’s estimates. Additionally, its adjusted EPS came in at $4.24, also topping Wall Street’s forecasts. The company also raised its full-year revenue and adjusted EPS guidance to $39.5 billion and $16.70, respectively.

For the current year, which ends in December, analysts expect PWR’s EPS to increase 56.6% to $15.35 on a diluted basis. The company surpassed the consensus estimate in each of the last four quarters.

Among the 26 analysts covering PWR stock, the consensus is a “Strong Buy.” That’s based on 22 “Strong Buy” ratings and four “Holds.”

The configuration has grown more bullish over the past month, with the stock now having 22 “Strong Buy” ratings, up from 19 a month prior.

On Aug. 6, Argus Research analyst John Staszak maintained a “Buy” rating on Quanta Services and set a price target of $800.

PWR’s mean price target of $808.88 offers a 22% upside compared to the current market price. Its Street-high target of $976 implies a 47.3% upside from current levels.
