Former Newcastle United chief executive Lee Charnley is set to return to the action of the Premier League with Nottingham Forest on a 'consultancy basis'. The Telegraph reported the 44-year-old, who left St James' Park last November, will join Forest to help out with the clubs ticketing and match day requirements.
During his time at Newcastle, Charnley was Mike Ashley's main man on Tyneside, tasked with overseeing day to day matters at the club. In total, Charnley was at Newcastle for a whopping 22 years across a number of different roles.
However, he is not remembered fondly at St James', with fans labelling the the former chief executive as Ashley's 'yes man'. Following the news of his new role plenty of Newcastle supporters have had their say on social media about Charnley being back in a Premier League job.
