The Golden State Warriors won their last championship in 2022. They still have their championship core of Draymond Green, Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. They added Chris Paul to the mix during the summer. Regarding talent and experience, the Warriors are among the deepest rosters in the league. However, their aging veterans have left legitimate questions surrounding their ability to compete.
Still, with so much experience and Steve Kerr at the helm, it’s hard to fully count out the Warriors as potential contenders. After all, their 2022 championship came at a time when nobody expected them to be realistic contenders.
During a recent episode of ESPN’s “Numbers on the Board,” the hosts discussed the Warriors’ roster and the pressure they could be under to win a championship. That pressure is likely higher for Paul, who continues to search for a ring despite an amazing career as one of the best point guards in history.
