Spoilers for the Love Is Blind season 10 finale ahead. Love Is Blind hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey haven’t been shy about their desire for their romance reality series to produce a few babies, and, in season 10, Ohio’s Brittany Wicker and Devonta Anderson seem up for that challenge. In the pods, the pair align on their desire to start a family—even joking that they will be the first couple to arrive at the reunion with a baby in tow—but the road to the altar proved to be more difficult than either of them imagined, as their emotional connection didn't fully translate to a physical one. Ahead, we break down Brittany and Devonta’s journey on Love Is Blind season 10, and whether they might still be together today.

What happens between Brittany and Devonta in the pods on 'Love Is Blind' season 10?
33-year-old registered nurse Brittany and 32-year-old loan officer Devonta, A.K.A. Devo, begin their love story on the third episode of the Ohio-set season of Love Is Blind. (The only glimpse we get before that is a quick soundbite of Brittany announcing that she spends her Saturdays and Sundays watching football, which Devonta says is “music to his ears.”)
The couple initially hit it off by showing their nerdy sides to each other—Devonta says he’s into audio and video equipment, while Brittany geeks out about her job working in labor and delivery. She also shows her goofy side, telling him that the “Wobble” and “Electric Slide” will get her onto the dance floor, while he is a little bit more reserved. Brittany concocts a phrase, “tingly wingleys,” to describe the heart flutters and butterflies she feels when talking to him, and it soon becomes part of their secret shared language.
Their relationship grows deeper as they discuss what they want in life and in their partners. Devonta says he’s excited to be a husband and a father, especially because he didn’t have a relationship with his father. Now that he’s established in his career and feels he knows himself, Devonta says he’s ready for that next step. Brittany echoes his sentiments and expresses her desire to be a mother, too.

Do Brittany and Devonta get engaged on 'Love Is Blind' season 10?
Devonta’s journey on the reality show hits a bump when the producers tell him that his grandfather died during filming. After speaking with both his brother and his grandmother, he decides to stay in the experiment, as they told him that this is something his grandfather would want for him. Brittany is touched that he opened up, while also understanding if he changed his mind and wanted to go home. But he takes his brother and grandma’s advice, doubling down on his relationship with Brittany—proposing in the fourth episode. Brittany says she prays for a lifetime of love and a lot of babies, while he reiterates how excited he is about their future.
But the in-person reveal is the first of a few relationship hiccups for the duo. Brittany is initially nervous about his reaction to her Hispanic heritage, and he later reveals that he’s never dated a woman of color before. After the doors open and they walk towards each other, they immediately kiss and hug for a long time, but she dishes in the confessional that he’s shorter than she thought he’d be and commented on his “very sticky” sweat. He’s not someone she’d go for in the real world, she continues, but notes she doesn’t care about that and that she’s drawn to his eyes. Devonta and Brittany are really excited to be parents, and they joke about coming to the Love Is Blind reunion with a baby.

Do Brittany and Devonta stay together after the pods on 'Love Is Blind' season 10?
In Cabo, things don’t suddenly become blissful. Brittany doesn’t want to have sex immediately, as she wants the next person she has sex with to be her “forever person,” and they’re the only couple that doesn’t consummate their love in Cabo. While Devonta doesn’t say anything about it to her, he seems to pull away from her emotionally. Brittany says that she feels lonely and that Devonta seems disengaged from her.
When she brings it up, he explains that he sometimes gets quiet when he’s trying to calm down, and with his grandfather’s death on his mind, on top of the craziness of this experiment, he has a lot to process. Brittany is understanding, though she fears their ways of working through things are very different and incompatible (for example, her love language is physical touch, while touch isn’t always what he wants). Devonta waves away all of Brittany’s fears and seems to shut down emotionally, leaving her in “pure shock” as she expects they’d want to be in each other’s spaces if they plan to get married.
By the end of the first batch of episodes, the couple’s in-person compatibility issues are exacerbated by a potential new suitor. Alex Henderson, who is engaged to Ashley Carpenter, pulls Brittany aside for a one-on-one conversation, and they discuss how their current partners are not their usual types. They don’t voice that they are each other’s usual type, and neither makes a move, but it implies trouble to come.

In the second batch of episodes, released on February 18, Brittany and Devonta’s communication hasn't gotten better. Brittany pulls aside Love Is Blind producers to air her frustrations, suggesting that Devonta should have left the experiment after his grandfather died. “This is my life, too,” she says, explaining that he hasn’t talked to her for two days.
Devonta intercepts the conversation, and the two finally say what’s on their minds. Devonta thinks Brittany isn't understanding of his current mindset, while Brittany feels he isn’t ready for what a marriage entails. Still, Brittany is optimistic. She feels it’s a good sign that it hasn’t been extremely easy for them: They know how to work through their emotional issues, and she feels heard when she voices her concerns. Brittany heaps praise on Devonta—even calling him “Christ-like”—while he doesn’t offer an equal compliment in return.
The couple then meets Brittany’s family, with whom she is very close. Brittany gushes over Devonta, and her family notices that she’s never been this excited or certain about a previous partner. Devonta says he only wants to get married once, which is a relief to Brittany’s father. When Devonta and Brittany’s dad have a private moment, there isn’t an interrogation; instead, he praises their connection and urges his potential future son-in-law to speak openly about any hesitations he may have. Seeing his daughter so happy, Brittany’s dad jokingly asks Devonta for his daughter’s hand in marriage.

Even though the dinner with her family was a success, Brittany still has concerns about their compatibility and love languages. Vulnerably, she tells Devonta she feels less secure about their connection outside the pods and needs him to offer occasional verbal validation. He counters, saying he doesn’t want his compliments to feel forced. Brittany concedes that she may be projecting some of her previous insecurities on him, and in turn, he offers very surface-level compliments about her appearance to appease her. In the end, he apologizes that she felt this way, but doesn’t really take responsibility for his part in their strained relationship.
Thankfully, the “Pod Squad” reunion at the end of episode 9 doesn’t shake the boat more for Brittany and Devonta. Even though Alex is in attendance, Love Is Blind doesn’t show him and Brittany interacting at all. In episode 10, Brittany brings Devonta to her home and shows off her basement lash salon, as she is an esthetician in addition to her work as a nurse. They talk a bit about finances, including the cost of her mortgage and how much money they each like to keep in reserve. Brittany says this will be “their little home,” implying they’d live here together after marriage, but Devonta, as usual, doesn’t say much to agree or disagree.

At the typical Love Is Blind wedding dress shopping, Brittany surprises everyone by announcing she bought a dress before going on the show. Her mom says it was a sign of faith that she’ll find the right one during this process, and Brittany explains that it made her fully jump into the journey and believe she was meant to do this. It’s clear she’s the type of girl who’s always dreamed of her wedding day, and she jokes that she’s been waiting 32 years to find the man who checks all of her boxes. When asked how she thinks Devonta will react to seeing her in this dress, Brittany jokes that she doesn’t actually know what he’ll say since he’s a man of very few words.
The penultimate episode of the season features the couple’s “last date” before the altar. Brittany and Devonta spend their time relaxing in a hot tub, reminiscing about the wild journey they’ve been on. She tells him she believes their foundation can last a lifetime and that he’s the first person she feels has been worth giving up her independence. Meanwhile, Devonta tells her that his mind has been racing and that the decision has been weighing on him. In a confessional, Devonta expands on this, saying that he’s feeling the pressure of marriage and is worried.
Devonta tells Brittany that he needs to get away and be unreachable to process his thoughts. When asked, he says he’s 98 percent there in terms of saying yes at the altar. Brittany says she can see herself saying yes and wouldn’t invite her family if she didn’t feel confident. This conversation finally prompts Devonta to say what’s on his mind. He brings up Brittany’s comment at the dress fitting, framing it as a dig at him for not complimenting her enough. He feels like he’s being talked about negatively, while Brittany explains that she’s still getting used to the idea that he wouldn’t gush over her.

The conversation soon turns to finances, as Devonta says he would like to have a prenup in place before getting married. Brittany understands that he wants to protect what he worked so hard to accomplish, but also “doesn’t want to get married to someone that feels like they have to protect themselves” from her. She also defends herself, saying she wouldn’t be spiteful if things went south in the future, but Devonta sticks to his guns, saying this is how he feels and that it would make him comfortable.
That he brought this up at the eleventh hour is frustrating—and Brittany lets him know that. She shares that she wishes he had mentioned it sooner, while he says it would be a dealbreaker if she said no to the prenup. Brittany counters by saying it feels like a plan for him, so he doesn’t have to fight for their relationship in the future. Devonta doesn’t have an answer to that, but it can’t help but feel a bit manipulative to mention at the tail-end of the experiment.
Heading into the wedding, there’s no doubt that Brittany and Devonta have a lot more to think—and talk—about before they can say “I do.” The question is whether they will, especially as Devonta plans to go off the grid so close to the wedding.

Do Brittany and Devonta get married on 'Love Is Blind' season 10?
In a twist that likely isn't that surprising, the season 10 finale flashes the graphic for Brittany and Devonta's wedding day over an empty venue, before cutting to the pair at Brittany's home. Brittany is all ready to get married—the dress is ready, the nails are done, the lashes are done, and family members have come to town. But Devonta can't go to the altar.
Despite her disappointment (and even her willingness to sign the prenup), Brittany says that she's alright with waiting until Devonta's more comfortable. She assures him that they're still going to be together, and still on track for marriage, and Devonta doesn't contradict or assure her. "I'm not a fortune teller, so I don't know," he says, mentioning his doubts in the relationship.
In a confessional, he admits that Brittany's pre-bought wedding dress made him doubt whether she's just marrying him to be married. He also says that the more he's "clinged on to," the more he "pushes back," and that he doesn't want to "keep dragging [this] down the road, if it's not going to work out." However, he still kisses Brittany and tells her, "We will be in touch," before leaving her place.
It's extremely rough to see Devonta treat this as a learning experience, as he reflects that two years ago, he'd probably have just gotten married and subsequently divorced. Meanwhile, Brittany admits that she has at times felt that he was only going through the motions. The scene ends with Brittany in tears, saying, "We're not saying no to each other. We're just saying not right now."
Are Brittany and Devonta from 'Love Is Blind' season 10 still together?
Signing up for Love Is Blind means keeping the fate of your relationship a secret until the episodes air, and details like whether a couple follows each other on Instagram have previously proven to be red herrings. (For the record, Brittany and Devonta don’t currently follow each other.)
That means we don’t have any concrete evidence about Devonta and Brittany’s relationship past filming, though social media creators have posted videos that point to a break-up. Viewers will have to wait until the March 11 reunion to learn whether the pair ever got on the same page.
