Amid social media rumours that there would be a 14-day curfew in Pune starting May 26, 2026, Pune Police have emphasised that no curfew has been imposed in the city. As per a report from The Times of India, the explanation came after many internet posts made false claims that a 14-day curfew will start on the evening of May 26, restricting public mobility and prohibiting meetings throughout Pune.
