FC Luzern will reportedly tell Celtic to pay around £7 million to land captain Ardon Jashari this summer.
The highly-rated 20-year-old has been attracting interest from across Europe after the midfielder was a surprise inclusion in the Switzerland squad taken to the World Cup. The Hoops have long been linked with a move for the prospect - who has reportedly already told the club he wants to play in the Champions League next term.
That could give Ange Postecoglou's side an edge in the signing race with group stage football already sealed after claiming the Scottish title last weekend. Swiss outlet Blick are reporting that Celtic hold their interest from previous windows but a bumper fee will be required to seal the deal. The Scottish Premiership champions are said to be "above all" in the race for a deal, but are joined by Porto in eyeing a deal this summer. Serie A clubs Lazio and Atalanta have also reportedly made an approach for a player that is in "great demand."
The report states that the midfielder is "likely to leave" this summer. However, the player is "still completely open" to which club to join when he leaves the Swiss Super League.
