FC Luzern captain Ardon Jashari has reportedly told his agent he wants to be playing Champions League football next season amid links with Celtic.
The highly-rated 20-year-old has been attracting interest from across Europe after the midfielder was a surprise inclusion in the Switzerland squad taken to the World Cup by Murat Yakin, and despite making just one appearance off the bench at the tournament, the likes of Leeds United and RB Leipzig have been touted as interested parties. The Scottish Premiership champions have previously been linked with interest in the prospect - and his demand for the European stage could open the door for a move.
Jashari recently changed agents as he linked up with Mathias Walther's company, who also represent the likes of Breel Embolo and Xherdan Shaqiri. Nau report that the player is likely to leave in the summer window following the switch and has "expressed an interest" in testing himself among Europe's elite and would like to join a club that "regularly" plays in the Champions League.
Ange Postecoglou is on course to lead Celtic to a second consecutive Scottish Premiership crown - which would automatically send the Hoops into the group stage next season. FC Porto and several Bundesliga clubs have also reportedly "put out feelers" over a move.
