Arctic Monkeys to play Ashton Gate in Bristol next year

Sheffield band Arctic Monkeys are to bring their 2023 stadium concert tour to Bristol, and will play at Ashton Gate towards the end of May, it has been confirmed.

The band will be supported by The Hives and The Mysterines on the tour, and will kick off their UK & Ireland tour at Ashton Gate on May 29.

The gig is the first of the 2023 summer series of concerts at Ashton Gate, that returned this summer with gigs from The Killers and two nights of Elton John in BS3.

The rockers, fronted by Alex Turner, are perhaps most famous for their debut album - recorded when they were still teenagers - that contained the epic hits like I Bet That You Look Good On The Dancefloor and When The Sun Goes Down.

The band have a new album out in October, called The Car, which is released on October 21. Tickets for the UK tour, including the first date at Ashton Gate, are on sale from 9am on Friday September 30.

Tickets for the gig are available from Ticketmaster.
