Arctic Monkeys will finally perform in Manchester this weekend as the four-piece make their way to Emirates Old Trafford for two huge highly anticipated gigs.
The band will perform at the cricket ground tonight, June 2, and Saturday, June 3. Kicking off the tour at Bristol's Ashton Gate on Monday, the band performed 21 tracks including fan favourites such as 'Mardy Bum' - which was their first live performance of the 2006 track in a decade, Manchester Evening News reports.
Formed in Sheffield, Arctic Monkeys consists of frontman Alex Turner, Jamie Cook, Nick O'Malley, and Matt Helders, their debut album, 'Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not', became the fastest-selling debut album in UK chart history in 2006, and quickly earned them a loyal fan base.

Who is the support act?
Alternative four-piece rock band from Liverpool and the Wirral The Mysterines will support Arctic Monkeys this weekend. The band formed in 2015, composed of Lia Metcalfe, George Favager, Callum Thompson, and Paul Crilly.
The Hives, who first formed in 1993, will also support the band. The Swedish rockers made a breakthrough with their single 'Hate to Say I Told You So' from the album Veni Vidi Vicious back in 2000.
The band are due to release their sixth album 'The Death of Randy Fitzsimmons' in August 2023 - their first album in 11 years.

Doors will open at 4.30 and the concert will end no later than 10.30pm.
