Archie Battersbee's mum continues 'fight for justice' a year on from his death

Archie Battersbee's mum has vowed to continue fighting for "justice" a year after her son died as she prepares for the anniversary of finding him unconscious following an "online prank".

Hollie Dance found the 12-year-old unresponsive on April 7 last year. Archie died four months later in hospital after his parents lost a legal case against doctors over the withdrawal of his life support.

Ms Dance has since asked the United Nations Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities to consider Archie's case, after failed to persuade appeal judges to overturn the ruling, reports Essex Live.
