Archie Battersbee's family friend hits out at 'barbaric' death with 'nothing dignified'

A family friend of Archie Battersbee has described the 12-year-old's death as "barbaric".

Archie Battersbee has died in hospital after weeks of legal battles. He had been in a coma since April after suffering a catastrophic brain injury, with his parents lodging several appeals to keep his ventilator on.

Today, Archie sadly died after having his life support switched off.
