Arcade Fire have announced a return to Glasgow as part of their upcoming autumn world tour.
The Canadian indie rockers will be hitting the road in support of new album 'WE', which has been released today.
The release of the new album - the band's sixth studio album - comes following surprise shows at New Orleans’ Toulouse Theatre, New York’s Bowery Ballroom, Coachella’s Mojave Tent, and a triumphant show to mark the reopening of iconic London venue KOKO.
The UK and European leg of the WE tour – featuring special guest Feist – will stop off at the OVO Hydro on Monday, September 5, and will see the band perform a total of 19 shows in cities such as Lisbon, Paris, Berlin and Warsaw.
Win Butler and co last played in Glasgow at the Hydro back in 2018, which saw the band perform 'in the round' on a 360° stage - and featured a special guest appearance by Jim Kerr of Simple Minds.
Tickets for all tour dates will be on general sale to the public beginning Friday May 13 at 10am UK time here
