Embark Studios has released the Riven Tides update for ARC Raiders, bringing one of the game’s biggest updates yet with a brand-new map, a fresh enemy type, weapon economy changes, and multiple balance updates.
The biggest addition in the ARC Raiders patch is Riven Tides, a new coastal region set in the Rust Belt. Players can explore abandoned shorelines, the Exodus port, and the decaying luxury of the Panorama Azzurro hotel while fighting rival Raiders and ARC machines for loot. The update also introduces the ARC Turbine, a new floating enemy machine patrolling the skies.
New map and features in Riven Tides

Riven Tides comes with its own exclusive Beachcombing map condition, allowing players to search beaches for buried treasure. However, you will need the right tools and should be ready for unexpected dangers while digging.
Several new items have also arrived:
- Epic Gadget: Powered Descender
- Uncommon Throwable: Crash Mat
- Common Deployable: White Flag
- Common Gadget: Dockmaster’s Detector
- Avian Alarm: New Player Project reward
A limited-time Last Resort Event is also live, letting players earn merits by collecting ship models and gaining XP across maps.
Bettina gets major buffs

One of the biggest balance changes in the patch is a sizable buff to the Bettina weapon.
Changes include:
- Base damage increased from 14 to 16.
- Fire rate reduced from 285 to 235.
- Reduced shot bloom by around 40 percent.
- Faster accuracy recovery.
- Damage against ARC armor increased by around 33 percent.
Embark said the goal was to make each bullet feel more valuable while rewarding controlled burst fire. The developers also made sweeping changes to weapon durability and progression.
Weapons found around the map’s outskirts now spawn less frequently and with lower average durability, while locked rooms remain the best source for stronger gear. Upgrading a weapon now repairs 25 percent of its maximum durability. Durability loss per shot has also been adjusted based on rarity, with higher-tier weapons lasting longer than before.
Trials Season 4 begins
Embark said some Augments, especially Combat Augments, are currently underperforming and will receive a broader balance pass in a future update. The studio specifically highlighted Combat Mk. 3 (Flanking) as one that has yet to find its role, while also wanting to expand the overall Augment roster so every category is better represented.
The update also features:
- The Solare Set
- The Rachetta Set
- Tactical Mk.3 (Smoke) augment
More nerfs and fixes

The Trigger ’Nade has been toned down with new delays between throws and activations to reduce spam, while the Photoelectric Cloak now weighs more and consumes power much faster. The patch also adds voice chat noise suppression, UI improvements, expedition fixes, movement tweaks, and a long list of map bug fixes across Blue Gate, Buried City, Spaceport, and Dam Battlegrounds.
Riven Tides is available now in ARC Raiders.
