Arabica Coffee Falls Sharply on Forecasts for Rain in Brazil

Dec arabica coffee (KCZ23) on Thursday closed down -4.70 (-2.60%), and Jan ICE robusta coffee (RMF24) closed up +17 (+0.67%).

Coffee prices Thursday were mixed, with robusta posting a 1-3/4 month high.  Arabica coffee fell back from a 4-3/4 month high Thursday and fell sharply as long liquidation pressures emerged on forecasts for rain in Brazil early next week.
