The Saudi-led Arab coalition announced it had destroyed two armed drones over Yemen shortly after their launch at dawn on Saturday.
The aircraft were aimed at Saudi Arabia.
They were flown from civilian locations and oil facilities in Yemen's Hodeidah city, added the coalition.
"We will directly address the sources of threats and avoid causing collateral damage among civilians and at oil facilities," it stated.
It urged civilians against approaching or gathering at any oil facilities in Hodeidah.
