Apple to update autocorrect to stop it changing a common swear word to 'ducking'

It's something that's happened to a lot of us when trying to vent our frustration when messaging somebody on an iPhone. We want to use on of the English language's most common swear words, but Apple's autocorrect changes it to 'ducking'.

Well, no more, apparently. Although it's possible to disable autocorrect, until now the iPhone's or iPad's keyboard settings have changed the word automatically.

However, according to a report by the BBC, Apple's software boss Craig Federighi told its developers' conference in California that things were about to change, saying: "In those moments where you just want to type a ducking word, well, the keyboard will learn it, too."
