Apple iPhone 17 review: The most advanced regular iPhone yet

Apple David Phelan IndyBest

The new iPhone 17 is one of the biggest upgrades for the regular iPhone in years. At last, the display has been upgraded to the ProMotion screen found on Apple’s iPhone Pro models, and you can certainly see the difference. It also has a slightly bigger screen – the iPhone 16’s display is 6.1in but the iPhone 17 now matches the 6.3in display of the iPhone 17 Pro.

The cameras have been significantly upgraded, too, so that, for the first time, the iPhone has two 48MP sensors. Previously there was one 12MP and one 48MP. Before that, there were just two 12MP sensors. With it’s latest iPhone model, Apple has really upped the device’s photographic game.
