Apple iPhone 14 Plus review

Apple Tom Guide Android Samsung

IPhone 14 Plus shown held in hand.

The iPhone 14 Plus is designed to give iPhone shoppers exactly what they’ve supposedly been waiting for: a big-screen iPhone without the Pro premium. And while it largely succeeds, I can definitely see why someone would still want to spring for an iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 14 Pro Max.

For $899, the iPhone 14 Plus sports a large 6.7-inch display — the same size as the iPhone 14 Pro Max — for $200 less (check out our iPhone 14 Plus vs iPhone 14 Pro Max showdown). You also get the same great cameras in the regular iPhone 14, a slightly upgraded A15 Bionic processor for better graphics and a slick new Action mode video along with very impressive battery life.
