Just two years on from its launch, Apple's AirTag smart tracker has skyrocketed in popularity. Priced at just £35, the Bluetooth-enabled device is easily attached to wallets, bags, or keys to help people track their own valuables.
However, the coin-sized devices are also controversial. Safety experts have branded them a 'gift to stalkers'. The small, wireless discs use technology to ping nearby Apple devices, which then report the last known location of the AirTag to other devices registered to it.
One example involved Angelina, who was driving her four-year-old daughter to a birthday party when she received an ominous notification on her phone, alerting her to an unknown device that had been tracking her every move.
