Apple has announced three new colours for its Beats Studio Buds earphones.
After almost one year on the market, Beats Studio Buds has become the fastest-selling Beats By Dre product to date, globally.
The in-ear headphones are now available in stunning Sunset Pink, Ocean Blue and Moon Gray colourways.
The company has also announced two new features to enhance the listening experience for Android users.
Beats has added both Locate My Beats and Product Widgets features to its Beats App for Android.
Similar to the convenient features already available to iOS users, Android customers will now also be able to locate their earbuds, access battery life info and control listening modes directly from their device.
Audio quality
When I reviewed the earphones last year, I found little to quibble with. I use them regularly as they are in my everyday carry bag.
I’m a huge fan of the compact and comfy design and build.
Audio quality and ANC are as good as other contenders in this price range; the former is actually better than many competitors at this price point.
You can get superior audio quality and noise cancellation elsewhere but only if you are willing to pay an additional €100 or more.
As someone who uses both iOS and Android devices regularly I found the compatibility with both platforms appealing.
To accompany the launch, Beats delivered Choose Your Player, its new campaign meant to celebrate and inspire self-expression through colour and fashion.
The 30-second clip plays off the iconic, retro video game experience, highlighting each of the colours in three familiar game-inspired worlds with appearances by avatars of model and actress Kaia Gerber and Olympic gold medallist Eileen Gu.
