The AirPods Pro 3 take everything that was good about the Pro 2 and crank it up a notch. The sound is noticeably better (while retaining Apple's signature sonic profile), the noise cancellation more effective, and the fit that much more secure (though this wasn't the case for all of our testers). They are pricier, but still cost less than the Pro 2 did at launch. Winner.

A longer total battery life (including the charging case) is about the only area in which the Pro 2 trump their new siblings. Still, the older pair remain a solid bet, with very good sound and noise cancellation and bags of features (for iOS users, that is). With more discounts likely, these could be a very canny buy indeed.
