One of the most popular Apple gadgets has been slashed to under £100 in time for summer. The Apple Airpods have been reduced to their cheapest ever price of £99 at a number of online retailers.
The second-generation wireless earphones are usually £119, but have been reduced at Amazon , Currys , Argos and John Lewis . Aldi previously also stocked the Airpods for £99, but they’re no longer available on their website.
The popular tech gadget saw their first-generation launched in 2016, followed by the second-generation in 2019, with the latest third-generation Airpods launched in 2021

The second-gen Airpods have been available for £99 in February and March via a handful of retailers, but went back up to £110 - until now.
The tech coms with a H1 headphone chip that wearers can double-tap to play audio, move to the next track or answer a call. The battery life is around five hours after a charge, meaning shoppers can listen to their favourite music, watch TikTok videos, and enjoy audio books to their heart’s content.
The earphones are compatible with all iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac models and Apple TV models with the latest iOS version.
New subscribers also get six months of Apple Music at no extra cost when they buy eligible AirPods, HomePod Mini or Beats at John Lewis.
