Married At First Sight 2026 (MAFS) might’ve only just kicked off but behind the scenes, the social politics are already in full swing and insiders say the brides are quietly choosing sides before Australia even meets them.
Sources close to production reveal the cast has been tipped off about which weddings will air in each episode, and instead of keeping it low-key, some contestants have turned their debut episodes into full-blown cast events.
Yep. The MAFS watch party era has begun.
“They all know whose weddings land in which episodes,” an insider told PEDESTRIAN.TV. “And as soon as that happened, people started organising parties. It’s become a whole thing.”
First out of the gate is bride Alissa Fay, 33, the same contestant who went viral in the promo after dramatically telling her groom she doesn’t think she can marry him.

According to insiders, Alissa is hosting a major cast gathering for episode one, which has quickly become the unofficial kickoff night for the season.
“It’s basically the launch party for the group,” the insider says. “Everyone who’s invited is already bonding, posting together and building friendships.”
While it might seem harmless, insiders reckon these early hangouts shape everything that follows.
“The people who connect now usually stick together later during dinner parties and blow-ups,” the source explains. “Those alliances don’t happen randomly.”
Episode two is all about Gia Fleur, 35, and insiders say she’s already planning an even bigger celebration.
“Gia wants her episode to be an event,” the source claimed. “She’s going all out.”
With whispers already circulating about Gia’s fiery personality and her role in what’s tipped to be one of the messiest seasons yet, some believe her party could become a major turning point socially.
“There’s low-key competition already,” the insider adds. “Who gets the biggest turnout? Who everyone gravitates toward. It’s like high school but with reality stars.”
While viewers will watch relationships unfold on TV, those behind the scenes say the real chess game is happening off-camera.
“People are forming loyalties without realising it,” the source explains. “These parties are where friendships start and where future feuds are born.”

And with MAFS 2026 already being described as one of the most polarising seasons in years, insiders reckon these early alliances will only fuel the drama.
“It’s not just about love this year,” the source teases. “It’s about loyalty, cliques and who’s got whose back.”
Basically, by the time the weddings air, the cast already knows who they can trust and who they can’t. And if these secret parties are anything to go by, the chaos is already well underway.
