The Wanted singer Tom Parker has been backed by supportive fans after a troll mocked him over a spelling mistake.
The 33-year-old boyband star from Bolton made a typo, which he explained was down to his brain tumour, while wishing a follower good luck with their new job.
Tom replied to them: "God luck over got my fingers crossed for ya."
The typo was picked up on by another Twitter user who sniped: "It seems as though @TomParker doesn’t even know how to spell."
And he responded 'brain tumour issues.'
Appalled fans rallied around to support the father-of-two, who has been open about his battle with an inoperable grade four glioblastoma back in October 2020.
And Tom said about the troll 'f*** em.'
One fan branded them 'nasty' as they rushed to back the star.
@Paul19885D told them: "God forbid you never experience anything Tom and his family have had to go through.
"Really sad how low some people stoop but this is the lowest of low."
@SamFarmer2 replied: "You haven’t got a clue what @TomParker and his family are going through.
"If you can’t say something nice don’t say anything."
And waterproofcomet exclaimed: "OMG that's so mean of her! As if nobody ever had a typo in their tweets or didn't realize their autocorrect got super creative."
Earlier this month Tom called on fans to say a prayer for him.
"It’s a new moon and supreme number 02.02.22 it’s a powerful day to manifest with the universe," he shared on his Instagram.
"So let’s all heal together.
"At 6pm I would love everyone to light a candle and say this out loud.
“I let go of what no longer serves me for the highest good and in divine order. All that I am and all that I will ever be!
"May I be strong. May my body return to health and completely free from disease.
"I call on angels, guides and ancestors to help support me in this healing journey and please awaken my heart and mind to give me the power, strength and healing that I need on this journey to complete health.
"May my family be adorned with the love and strength that they need to enable them to support me too.
"I am supporting myself with love and light! And surrounding myself with joy and positivity."
In November he was in tears as he announced that his brain tumour was under control and stable.
And as he saw in the new year he told fans: "2022…the year we kick cancers ass in to touch.
"Not sure how I would have got through the last year without you all to be honest l. Love you so much."
The Wanted - Tom, Jay McGuiness, Max George, Nathan Sykes and Siva Kaneswaran - was formed in 2009 and their debut track All Time Low shot to number one in the UK.
The band, who took a hiatus from 2014, announced they would perform together for the first time in seven years at Tom Parker’s Inside My Head – The Concert to raise awareness of brain tumours last September followed by a greatest hits album, Most Wanted: The Greatest Hits.
Next month the band will embark on a UK tour coming to the Manchester AO arena on Sunday March 13.
