Aparna Yadav will lose if fielded from Lucknow Cantt: BJP leader

NEW DELHI: Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav’s sister-in-law Aparna Bisht Yadav, who joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on January 19, would lose the forthcoming Uttar Pradesh (UP) assembly election if she is fielded from Lucknow Cantonment (Cantt), a top BJP leader has claimed.

Explaining the political dynamics of the Lucknow Cantt constituency, he told TOI on the condition of anonymity that the popular mood was against Aparna Yadav in the seat.
