Rangers fans that have followed the club at every stage of their Europa League journey will be used to travelling in a crowd of thousands.
But it's a novelty for some clubs on the continent as RB Leipzig were left stunned by a video showing hundreds of Gers fans taking over a city centre boozer.
The fans have descended on Saxony with German national Bild estimating as many as 7,000 are making the journey over.
The official away allocation sold out immediately with thousands more packing into a 'neutral area' of the club's Red Bull Arena on Thursday night and there will likely be some just going along ticketless for the fun.
Rangers' friendly visit to Leipzig in January 2017 remains a trip that lives long in the memory and this one promises to be even more special with the sides meeting at such an advanced stage of UEFA competition.
After a Gers fan posted the video on Twitter, Leipzig's English language account responded: "Is there anyone left in Scotland?"
Gers must do the trip the hard way on the park though as they remain without strikers Alfredo Morelos and Kemar Roofe.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst will hope Roofe will be fit for the second leg next week.
