Antony sends message to Ten Hag over United's poor start

Antony has discussed his relationship with Erik ten Hag as he admitted his sadness at Manchester United's current situation.

Reports in the Netherlands on Friday claimed the 22-year-old did not take part in training with his current club despite being at the Ajax complex. De Telegraaf claimed the Reds had put in an €80m bid for the Brazilian which was rejected by the Amsterdam club on Thursday.

Ten Hag is a big fan of Antony having managed him at Ajax, and earmarked the wide forward as a possible summer signing upon his arrival at United.

Klopp makes Premier League demand over United fans protest

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has demanded that his team be awarded the win if Manchester United fans force the game to be postponed due to a planned protest ahead of the game.

United have lost both of their Premier League games this season, leaving them bottom of the table, and have been beaten in their last four fixtures, with a United player failing to score in any of them.

Several United supporters plan to protest against the Glazer family's ownership again before the visit of Liverpool on Monday night and it emerged in midweek that Sir Jim Ratcliffe is interested in buying the club.
