A mother of a disabled Manchester United supporter was said to be moved after Antony spent a 'considerable' amount of time talking to her son.
The Brazil international, 22, has quickly established himself as a fan favourite at Old Trafford following his £85million move from Ajax in the summer. He's scored three goals in four Premier League appearances to date - including on his debut against Arsenal last month.
Yet Antony has also impressed supporters with his off-field actions. As reported by the Daily Mail, he attended United's 'Dream Day' event last week - organised by the club's charity arm - and spoke to a young fan, even though his English is still developing.
Once the conversation ended, Antony went to his car, retrieved his match-worn shirt from United's 2-1 victory against Everton at Goodison Park from the previous day and gave it to the fan. It's said the supporter's mother was 'moved to tears' by the kind gesture.
David de Gea, Lisandro Martinez and Cristiano Ronaldo also reportedly attended the event at United's Carrington training ground. It was arranged for fans who suffer from serious illnesses. It was last held in 2019 - before the Covid pandemic began.
It's believed those who attended the event also watched the first-team squad train from the balcony of the Jimmy Murphy Centre, which is part of Carrington. Murphy was United's assistant manager between 1955 and 1971, mostly working under Sir Matt Busby.

Antony grew up in a favela in Brazil and is said to be a humble, approachable and popular figure in United's dressing room. "I went through a lot, a lot of difficult moments in my life," the youngster told United's website when asked about his upbringing.
"I know that this will be another challenge. I went through a lot in the past. No football boots, nothing to eat, bailing water out of my house at three or four o'clock in the morning as it had flooded. They were very difficult times but I went through them all with a smile.
"I'm certain it was all worth it as I'm reaping the rewards now for what was planted in the past. Those moments have contributed to everything I'm now experiencing... I feel honoured to be here after everything I went through in the past. Today I can see it was all worth it."
Erik ten Hag worked with Antony at Ajax before taking the United job in the summer. The Brazilian was a key member of Ten Hag's side during the player's two seasons in Amsterdam, scoring 18 goals and providing 14 assists to help them win back-to-back Eredivisie titles.
"We have to expect more from him," Ten Hag told United's website. "He needs challenges, that’s why he came to the Premier League and he gets that here. He wants to play with the best players and the highest stress factors and against the best players.
"From there on he will step up and that’s what you see. First week he was scoring goals and he has done good stuff but I also see a lot of room for improvement in his game."
