Manchester United have yet to complete any business during the summer transfer window - but supporters could be in for a treat if Erik ten Hag lands his top targets.
Having missed out on a central midfielder last summer, key figures in the Old Trafford boardroom have made that a clear priority for the Ten Hag rebuild and talks are progressing with Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona over a would-be £75million-plus switch. United also want to sign a new centre-back and a versatile attacking option.
Ajax starlets Jurrien Timber and Antony - both well known to Ten Hag from his successful reign in Amsterdam - are on the radar in that respect. Christian Eriksen is another high-profile target.
