Antonio Rudiger handed honour in Sierra Leone
His future at Chelsea may be up in the air, but Antonio Rudiger is not letting that distract him from another important cause as he continues to provide aid to Sierra Leone.
The German has paid for a number of crucial operations for children in the country and this week he was handed the diplomatic passport of Sierra Leone by president Julius Maada Bio.
"I am very, very proud to have received the diplomatic passport of Sierra Leone and to be the brand ambassador of the country from now on," he wrote on Twitter.
"Thank you to President Julius Maada Bio. What an honour!"
Frank Lampard to target Ruben Loftus-Cheek
Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has been offered the Everton managers job and is expected to take over in time for the Toffees' FA Cup clash with Brentford.
And for the former Blues boss is already looking to his old club for transfer inspiration, with Everton reportedly preparing a move for Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
The midfielder has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge over the past few months and the player could be enticed by the promise of more regular playing time.
Whether or not Tuchel would be willing to let him go, however, remains to be seen.
Jonathan David's Chelsea dream
Lille striker Jonathan David has become hot property in Europe, with Arsenal the club most widely reported to hold an interest in the American.
But Chelsea have now joined the race, as Tuchel looks to bolster his attacking options, and the Blues could hold a key advantage over their rival suitors.
Two years ago, MailOnline reported quotes from David's agent Nick Mavromaras who detailed that his client has previously dreamed of playing for Chelsea.
"He has been a childhood fan of Barcelona. Real Madrid, Man United and Chelsea are just as much part of his dreams, but for the time being we must remain humble: the next step in his career cannot be too big," he said.
