Pundit Perry Groves thinks Tottenham boss Antonio Conte should play Djed Spence more often after the talented youngster was signed on the back of an impressive loan stint at Nottingham Forest.
The 22-year-old made 46 appearances for the Reds last term as they won promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs, and his impressive form convinced Spur to recruit him from Middlesbrough.
Spence has since found regular game time hard to come by, making just four appearances since joining the north London side. But Groves believes Spence would offer something different to Conte's defensive options.

"He [Conte] can’t make up his mind who’s going to be his first-choice wing-backs," the former Arsenal player told talkSPORT. "It was Ivan Perisic and Matt Doherty against Brentford. But in the past they’ve had Emerson Royal and Ryan Sessegnon.
"It’s strange that Djed Spence hasn’t had his chance because he’s perfect for the way Spurs play. It might be a bit of politics - there were reports that he isn’t an Antonio Conte signing, so it’s a bit of a strange one."
