Antonio Conte has revealed that he will wait four of five days before speaking to the club about his Tottenham future. Handed a major task with Spurs struggling in the Premier League upon his appointment as head coach in November, the Italian has led the club to a Champions League place after a 5-0 triumph over Norwich City on the final day of the season.
His future has been a major talking point during his Tottenham tenure, notably questioning whether he was the right man for the job and even hinting he could depart after February's 1-0 defeat against Burnley. Pressed on his future when speaking in his post-match press conference at Carrow Road, Conte, who had made it clear in the past he will speak to Daniel Levy and Fabio Paratici about his future at the end of the season, was once again non-committal about whether he will be boss next season.
"I'm under contract until next summer. I signed for one year and seven months. I enjoyed a lot my time at Tottenham because, I repeat, for me it was a big challenge. To come in during the season, for a coach like me, is not easy. It was a big challenge in a modern club with a fantastic stadium and training ground," he explained.
