Tottenham boss Antonio Conte was happy to heap the praise on Matt Doherty after his latest performance.
Doherty was criticised by Conte earlier in the month but is now back in favour and started in their 2-0 victory over Everton.
Doherty came off in the 90th minute but was embraced by Conte after a stellar performance.
And the Italian praised Doherty after his performance.
He said in his post game press conference: "I'm really happy for Matthew. He played a good game against Brighton but today he was better. He was good against Brighton but today I saw Matt Doherty of last season. I said to him 'now finally you are the player I know!'."
The win leaves Tottenham just a point of top place in the table.
