Antonio Conte is "dreaming" of a switch to PSG this summer despite being at Tottenham for less than year, according to reports.
The Italian took over in north London back in November and has the club on the cusp of a Champions League return as they eye fourth spot. Conte signed an 18-month deal having left Inter Milan last summer after leading them to the Serie A title.
PSG are poised to sack Mauricio Pochettino in the summer after another Champions League failing. The former Tottenham boss, who was linked with a return to north London, has ensured domestic success but managers at the Parc des Princes are defined by their achievements in Europe.
It would leave the French giants looking for a new manager and according to Le Parisien Conte is already "dreaming" of life at the Parc des Princes whilst it is also reported that he is "looking for a new challenge". The Italian has won league titles at Inter, Juventus and Chelsea.
Those exploits have earmarked him as one of Europe's elite and he would reportedly relish an opportunity to cross the English Channel. PSG's first choice though remains Zinedine Zidane, who has been out of work since leaving Real Madrid last season.
Zidane's ideal move would be to succeed Didier Deschamps and take charge of the French national side, but he could yet be swayed to take up the job in Paris. His experience at managing a dressing room of egos is seen as a major plus should PSG begin their managerial search.
Will Tottenham finish in the top four? Let us know in the comments
Conte's apparent want to move to Paris comes despite him underlining his commitment to Tottenham - at least in the short-term. The former Blues boss has never been shy in speaking his mind and has hinted he would walk away at points this season, despite only arriving recently.
But he said last month: "For sure at the moment there is only one truth - I am committed to this club for another year. The club wanted this type of situation and I accepted it because it was good to get to know each other. After four months I think the club have understood the way I want to work and I understand the club.
"We have three more months till the end of the season to continue to improve our knowledge of each other and then to find the best solution for both. I can tell you that I am enjoying working for this club and I would like to fight for something important for this club."
