Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici will have a lot of decisions to make this summer regarding incomings and outgoings at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Giving the squad a much-needed boost back in January with Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur arriving from Juventus, all connected with the club will be hoping that the managing director of football can once again work his magic to help the Lilywhites hit the next level.
The Spurs duo will also have decisions to make over whether or not they extend the contracts of players currently at the club. Tottenham found themselves in quite a predicament in 2019/20, with Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld and Christian Eriksen all entering the final few months of their contracts and in danger of leaving on free transfers.
While Vertonghen did leave on a free to join Benfica, Eriksen left in a cut-price deal for Inter Milan, and Alderweireld penned a new contract, Spurs will not want to be in the same situation again in the future. To avoid that scenario arising again, the club will have to decide in the coming months over the players who will b

So which Tottenham players are out of contract in 2024, and what will the club decide on? Having recently extended Hugo Lloris and Brandon Austin's deals at the club until the end of the 2023/24 season, football.london takes a look at the other eight players who are out of contract that summer.
Harry Kane
The six-year contract Kane signed in June 2018 finally comes to an end at the close of the 2023/2024 season. In the headlines last summer about a mega-money move to Man City, Kane's name will once again crop up regarding a transfer this time around.
Tottenham will be doing all they can to keep him at the club beyond 2024, and they need to convince him that N17 is the place for him to be as he looks to achieve his goal of winning trophies. Qualifying for the Champions League and keeping Conte at the club will be deciding factors for Kane, who Spurs certainly cannot afford to lose given his huge contribution to the team.
Davinson Sanchez
Sanchez has performed well when he has been in the Tottenham team this season, but Cristian Romero's arrival from Atalanta has restricted his game time recently. Linked with a move away from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the past, Sanchez will have a big decision to make over the coming months in regards to his future.
An excellent back-up option for Tottenham if he isn't in the starting XI, the Colombian may believe that a move away is best for the sake of his career as he looks to play week in, week out. If indeed he is to move at some point, Tottenham will be able to bring in a decent fee for the ex-Ajax man, given his age and experience.
Eric Dier
It seems a no-brainer for Tottenham to extend Dier's stay at the club, given his pivotal role at the heart of the defence. Conte is a huge fan of the player, and the backline are so much better for having him in the middle due to his experience and leadership skills.
Dier, who will be 30 once his current contract expires, only signed fresh terms with Spurs two years ago, but the club will ideally need to think about a new one at some point down the line.
Lucas Moura
A regular in Conte's Spurs XI, to begin with, the arrival of Kulusevski from Juventus in January has seen Lucas drop down to the bench. The player is still getting regular minutes, but it appears that he is going to have to settle for a bit-part role going forward.
Lucas will be 31 by the time his contract expires in 2024, and that means Spurs must decide whether to part with him or extend his stay in N17. Given his age and squad role, it may be wise for Paratici to look for a younger player who can play his part for the team going forward over the coming years.
Ben Davies
Davies has excelled in the left-sided centre-back role ever since Conte changed Tottenham's system following his arrival at the club. Impressing there and certainly not letting anyone down, the Welshman looks set to have more competition there next season, with Spurs seeing that position as a priority in the summer transfer window.
The summer of 2024 will mark a decade for the player in north London, and his spell at the club could quite easily be extended as he is a key part of Conte's plans and Spurs need to keep hold of experienced players.
Oliver Skipp
Pivotal in Norwich City's Championship title success in 2020/21, Skipp returned to Tottenham last summer and immediately became a permanent fixture in the starting XI. The England U21 international has such a big future in the game, and Conte's recent comments about wanting the player back from injury highlight how important he is in his thinking.
football.london reported in March that discussions over a bumper new deal for the talented midfielder are nearing a positive conclusion following his impressive breakthrough season.
Harry Winks
Falling down the pecking order at the start of the season with Skipp leapfrogging him following his return from Norwich, Winks has since slipped another place following Bentancur's transfer from Juventus. Conte made it clear in December that he counts on Winks, and opportunities have been there for the player off the bench in recent months.
Winks will want to play week in, week out, however, and he faces a crucial decision regarding his Tottenham future. As he is out of contract in 2024 and struggling for regular football, it may be best for both parties to part ways.
Matt Doherty
Doherty was dealt a cruel blow in the recent win at Aston Villa after sustaining a season-ending knee injury. It came at the worst possible time for him as he had forced his way into the Spurs XI and played his best football for the club since his move to the capital.
One of Tottenham's priorities in January was to sign a new right wing-back, which may still be the case this summer despite the form of the player. Doherty will be 32 by the time his current contract expires, and his long-term future will hinge on Paratici and Conte's thinking at right wing-back.
