Antonio Conte heaped praise on his Tottenham Hotspur side following their 5-1 victory over Newcastle United on Sunday where a third straight Premier League win lifted Spurs back into the top four for the first time since September.
And the Italian added to Harry Kane ’s transfer dilemma ahead of this summer with some kind words on his star striker, saying that the 28-year-old “deserves the best” following another inspiring performance.
Conte is hopeful of being able to work with the forward again next season, which gives Kane some food for thought over a potential exit from his boyhood club at the end of the season.
