Antonio Colak to Rangers appears imminent as transfer fee unveiled ahead of 'medical tests'

PAOK striker Anotnio Colak will be in Scotland over the coming days to sign a deal to become Rangers' second summer signing.

The Croatian has been rumoured as a strong Light Blues target this summer as they look to beef up their striker department, which currently holds Alfredo Morelos and Kemar Roofe as senior options. Reports have raged over the last fortnight that the clubs were trying to thrash out an agreement and after one was met, PAOK sought a replacement.

Fortuna Dusseldorf striker Khaled Narey is reportedly heading to the club and now according to fresh claims from respected transfer journalist Georgios Sideridis, there is a 'total agreement' for the Ibrox move to now take place. A fee of €2 million (£1.7 million approximately) has been agreed on top of add-ons. The forwward will fly into Scotland shortly to undergo 'medical tests' before then putting pen to paper on signing with Rangers.

Turning 29 in September, Colak has scored just four times in 38 games for PAOK but did net two for Malmo during a loan stint there against his soon-to-be employers last year, dumping them out the Champions League.

His most prolific spell came at native club Rijeka where the forward netted an impressive 51 times in 90 matches.
