Antonio Colak Rangers price tag 'named' as Michael Beale told 'at least three big names' need to go

Antonio Colak looks set to be one of THREE big names needing to leave Rangers to help fund the summer rebuild - with his price tag named, according to a report.

Michael Beale has already brought in six new faces this summer with the Ibrox gaffer admitting he would like 'two of three' further new recruits. No9 target Cyriel Dessers became the latest player to check-in after a long negotiation process. He joins Sam Lammers, Abdallah Sima, Kieran Dowell, Dujon Sterling and Jack Butland in making the move to the Ibrox club.

Colak only moved to Ibrox last summer under Giovanni van Bronckhorst in a deal worth £2.5million from PAOK but the Scottish Sun claim he could leave for £2million during this window with Werder Bremen leading a pack of Bundesliga sides who want to snap him up while he also has interest coming from the MLS.

The 29-year-old made a solid start to life in Glasgow before injuries hampered his campaign. But he ended with an impressive 18 goals to his name overall. The hitman has already experienced playing in Germany with the likes of Nuremberg, Hoffenheim and others and could return to plying his trade in the league once more.

The same report states the striker is a hugely-popular figure in the dressing-room with his attitude and application stand out features but his style of play and lack of pace would hamper him in the tactical set-up Beale wants to impose next term.

Rangers are currently in Germany as they start preparing for the Scottish Premiership kick-off and the crucial early season Champions League qualifiers.

They will play a host of pre-season games between now and the start of the campaign next month as the new squad players bid to gel with their new-team mates in order to hit the ground running and get the campaign off to a flyer.

The likes of Scott Wright and Glen Kamara are other names who could join Colak in exiting the club after being linked with summer moves away.
