In recent years, the issue of discrimination and hate crimes against Muslims and Arabs in the United States has been a matter of concern. According to the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the organization received over 8,000 reports of such incidents in 2023, marking the highest number in at least a decade.
It is noteworthy that despite a decrease in anti-Muslim complaints in 2022, the numbers surged again last year. This fluctuation in reported incidents indicates the ongoing challenges faced by the Muslim and Arab communities in the US.
