Anti-monarchy protesters in Ireland threw a coffin marked with the words 'RIP British Empire ' into a river this afternoon.
The action was carried out by Anti Imperialist Action Ireland, which held a protest march through Dublin at the same time as the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II continued in London.
During the march some of those taking part stopped to throw a coffin into a river running through the Irish capital.
