In the hope of staving off the winter blues, I've been searching for ways to welcome some color and joy into my home, and I always start with tableware. Adding a few whimsical pieces to my dining setup is one of the simplest ways to brighten up my daily routine – and Anthropologie's new kitchen and dining pieces are bringing my maximalist dinnerware dreams to life.
While the weather remains chilly, it seems that many of my favorite brands are channeling springtime cheer. It didn't take me long to spot Joanna Gaines' pastel tableware at Target, which is perfect for a New Year refresh, but Anthropologie is offering up a more maximalist take.
The brand's signature Icon glassware is back with a range of playful motifs (the limited edition Anthropologie Patina Star Juice Glass is my personal favorite), but you'll also spot plenty of fabulous dinnerware, from the Anthropologie Chintzware Leopard Dinner Plates to the Anthropologie Tomato Dolomite Pasta Bowls.

As always, Anthropologie has nailed the kitschy look – and this year, botanical-inspired pieces are taking center stage. I don't simply mean florals, however, at the heart of the collection is a range of lilypad-themed table decor, including the Anthropologie Floating Cocktail Napkins and the Anthropologie Lilypad Coupe Glasses.
Combining vibrant green hues with whimsical silhouettes, these pieces are maximalist perfection – and they're also a brilliant way to lean into the 'modern eclecticism' look, which experts say is one of the biggest table decor trends for 2026. Incorporating a few unexpected elements into your tablescapes will really tap into that eclectic feel, while bringing instant vibrancy to any setup.

Nothing says kitschy maximalism like some slogan dinnerware, and this dessert plate is a real statement piece. The floral design is perfect for a spring-inspired tablescape.

Who could possibly resist these charming lilypad coupe glasses? You can opt for either clear glass or vibrant yellow, but both sets will bring a welcome sense of whimsy to your table.

Perfect your home bar setup with the addition of these delightful cocktail napkins. I love the variety of nature-inspired motifs, and the cheerful green color palette.

Resin pieces will always bring some personality into your space, and I adore these patterned coasters. Complete the look with the Lane resin cheeseboard and Lane resin cheese knives.

Just like the coupe glasses, these flutes feature an intricate, lilypad-shaped base and a gently grooved rim. Instead of a yellow hue, however, the flutes are finished in a rosy pink shade.

If it wasn't clear already, I've been loving a green and pink color palette lately – and I was thrilled to spot this shamrock mug. The bubblegum shade and playful silhouette is so uplifting.
I've been determined to bring a joyful, breezy feeling into my January tablescapes, and it seems that Anthropologie has read my mind. We may be only a few days into the New Year, but there's nothing wrong with looking ahead to warmer days – and it provides the perfect excuse to invest in some new tableware.
