The list of artists who have received a career boost from collaborating with Taylor Swift is lengthy. On Sunday, Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo added his name to that illustrious registry.
Rizzo dominated New York’s 8–5 win over the Royals in the teams’ series finale, going 4-for-4 with a double and his first home run in 45 games.
After the victory, he credited his success in part to the fact he switched his walk-up music to “…Ready for It?”—a No. 4 hit for Swift off 2017’s Reputation.
"Taylor Swift... it's her summer, really," Rizzo said when a reporter asked him about the change. "She's helping the economy in every city she goes."

Swift has spent 2023 touring the United States behind her massive body of work, stopping in New York in May to sell out MetLife Stadium on three consecutive nights.
The Yankees—fourth in the AL East at 53–47—have yet to match Swift’s 2023 chart success.
