Anthony Joshua has been warned that Tyson Fury is untouchable as the domestic rivals gear up for their mega-fight.
Heavyweight champion Fury was expected to come out of retirement and face Oleksandr Usyk - who beat Joshua for the second time last month - in an undisputed clash at the end of this year. Those plans have been sidelined after Usyk opted to take time away from the ring, with Fury now offering Joshua the chance to become a three-time champion by fighting for his WBC title.
Joshua accepted a deal proposed by Fury's team, which is understood to be a 60/40 purse split in Fury's favour, as the pair are set to meet at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on December 3. WWE legend Paul 'Triple H' Levesque has now issued his prediction on the fight, as he expects 'The Gypsy King' to hand Joshua his third consecutive defeat by stopping him inside eight rounds.

"From a boxing standpoint, I don't think anyone right now can touch Tyson Fury," he told iFL TV. "His size, strength and skillset that he has is unmatched. I think Tyson Fury comes out on top. Is that a match I want to see? Absolutely, I can't wait to see it. If it's at all possible, I will be sitting there watching in person because that's a blockbuster. If I had to make a prediction, Tyson Fury on top. Maybe in eight rounds."
Joshua is just a signature away from securing his title clash against longtime rival Fury as the champion's promoter Frank Warren revealed 'AJ' was sent a fight contract last week. Fury dropped his first update since his domestic rival was sent the contract, telling fans he has no interest in anything other than mourning the Queen's passing.
Fury is no stranger to Levesque as the heavyweight champion has made sporadic appearances for the WWE and recently suggested he could join the organisation on a permanent basis in the future. Fury made his WWE debut in 2019 at the Crown Jewel and recently gatecrashed a Championship match at the organisation's Clash at the Castle event in Cardiff. Levesque praised Fury's dedication to WWE during his training and thinks he could have a future in the organisation.
"We've done stuff with Tyson before and he takes it very seriously, he puts in the effort and work," he added. "I was with Tyson Fury at our performance centre training with him in Orlando, the effort is there. When you have people like that who come in, massive fans, respect what we do and are willing to put in the grind, you respect them and want to see them get that opportunity."
