Anthony Joshua's rematch with Oleksandr Usyk is still yet to be given a date and venue, as talks for the bout between the pair rumble on.
Usyk defeated Joshua comfortably via points in the first meeting back in September, stripping Joshua of his three titles and pushing a heavyweight unification bout further into the horizon.
Tyson Fury is widely expected to face-off against the winner of the rematch later this year, though he's set to be active in the first quarter of the year - likely defending his title against Dillian Whyte.
While Fury vs Whyte has been touted as an end of March bout and has been heavily reported to take place in Cardiff, there's no such updates regarding Joshua vs Usyk.
"Many things are happening at the moment. Soon we will unveil everything," Usyk's promoter Alexander Krassyuk told Sky Sports, adding a fight against AJ was the 'basic option' for Usyk's next opponent.
It had been reported that Joshua could step aside to allow Fury and Usyk to face-off in a unification bout but those claims were shot down by Eddie Hearn.
"AJ is already in camp physically and mentally for the Usyk rematch, and it's all he has thought about since the night of the first fight."
Joshua is expected to make significant changes ahead of the rematch, having travelled the United States and Dubai to work alongside numerous different trainers, with it expected he'll part ways with long-term trainer Rob McCracken.
That decision is yet to be confirmed, however, but it would see Joshua move on from his established training base in Sheffield, where Team GB is also based.
With no organisations involved in the discussions between Joshua and Usyk, there is a much longer timeframe for a fight to be sorted than there is for Fury and Whyte - with purse bids for that fight set to begin on Tuesday.
