Anthony Joshua gives sweary response after £15m Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk claims

Anthony Joshua has broken his silence amid reports he will accept £15m and step aside from his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.

It was reported on Sunday evening that his decision would lead to a unification bout between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, with AJ then facing off against the winner.

That would have a seismic impact on the heavyweight boxing scene, likely leading to frustrations for Dillian Whyte - who Fury has been mandated to defend his WBC title against.

However, Joshua has now spoken on the situation and urged fans not to listen to 'bulls***' - although he didn't deny he could make the decision.

"You know what's bad about all these interviews I see? I see certain interviews that quote what I said, I think to myself, I ain't done no interviews. Where did this person get their information from?" He told iFL TV.

"I'm hearing people saying AJ accepts £15m to step aside. I ain't signed no contract, I ain't see no contract. So, as it stands, stop listening to the bulls*** unless it comes from me.

"I'm the man in control of my destiny, I'm the man that handles my business, I'm a smart individual and I make calculated decisions every step of the way.

"Don't listen to the bulls*** from other sources. If I tell you something, you know it's real."

Joshua's rematch with Usyk was expected to take place in March or April but continued delays in an announcement have raised questions.

The British Olympian is also yet to officially confirm he's parted ways with long-term trainer Rob McCracken, though it's widely understood he has.
