Anthony Elanga had a night to remember in West London as he set Manchester United on their way to victory.
Having been made to work during the opening 45 minutes, the Old Trafford giants underlined their class upon the restart to gun down plucky Brentford at the Community Stadium.
Goals from Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford wrapped up three points.
However, it was the latest golden boy - Sweden forward Elanga - that set the tone and put United in front with a calm and composed finish.
Latching on to an inviting cross from Brazilian teammate Fred, the teenager cushioned the ball and headed beyond stranded Jonas Lossl between the Brentford posts. Over he went to the travelling United fans and all was well in the world once again.
On and off-field problems at United have been well-documented this campaign.
However, since Ralf Rangnick took temporary change, there are few who have benefitted more then Elanga as he continues to enjoy his progression in the first-team.
This was his first senior goal this season, but that the Swede has played 168 minutes in the last two games is quite telling; especially considering that Donny van de Beek and Jesse Lingard have only totted-up 156 minutes between them in the Premier League this campaign.

Elanga was summoned for media duty after his fantastic display and continued his reaction on social media.
Posting several Instagram stories in west London, the 19-year-old starlet outlined his love for Bruno Fernandes and fellow academy graduate Greenwood - while he also returned home to Manchester having swapped shirts with his Swedish compatriot Pontus Jansson. He was part of the Brentford team.
Elanga also posted a throwback image as a kid with Jansson and his dad, when they were Malmo team-mates.
