Anthony Elanga admitted he 'appreciates' Ralf Rangnick 'so much' after Manchester United's win against Brentford.
Elanga, 19, opened the scoring on Wednesday night with some brilliant improvisation to head the ball into the back of the net.
United went on to win the game 3-1 against Brentford with Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford also getting on the scoresheet.
Elanga started against Aston Villa on Saturday evening and he looked bright in that match. Rangnick is an admirer of Elanga - the German admitted he's been impressed with the youngster since his appointment - and he started him again versus Brentford.
Elanga picked up where he left off and broke the deadlock in the second half in London, vindicating Rangnick's faith.
"I appreciate the boss so much," Elanga told BT Sport.
"You can see in training, the intensity, how much we're running, and if you put the work in you'll get rewards in games.
"That's what I try to do every day, try to work hard and train the way I want to play."
"We needed this win, it's about keeping pushing and keeping working hard."
